NOAA’s Assessment and Restoration Division (ARD) is responsible for evaluating and restoring coastal and estuarine habitats damaged by hazardous waste releases, oil spills, and vessel groundings. Exa Data & Mapping has a long-term relationship with NOAA ARD managing a wide variety of data in support of CERCLA sites, oil spills including the Deepwater Horizon event, the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) including contaminant chemistry and bioassay data. These data can be viewed on the DIVER website, which allows the public to search, visualize, and download data connected to hazardous waste releases, oil spills, marine debris and vessel groundings.
