Template & QAQC Tools

The development of standardized data templates provides a mechanism for users to manipulate raw data into a structure that will allow efficient conversion and ingest to an established data management system. Template tools will streamline the receipt, import, and classification of data and information submitted by data providers.

Exa will design templates that are suited to client needs and are usually designed to be more flexible than the database structure, so they are straightforward for the data provider to work with. Guidance documentation is developed to accompany the template structures to provide instructions for data providers for populating the templates.

Automated QAQC checks are programmed into the template suite of tools that are designed with the objective of identifying errors and omissions in the completed template files. These automated procedures check for internal consistency and return detailed error messages that allow the data provider to submit data that is prepared for ingest into the data management system.
